— Why Sablebrook
What a focused outside perspective tends to surface.
Working with someone outside your organisation removes the assumptions that make it hard to see your own brand clearly.
Clarity Over Volume
Every assignment produces a compact, readable output. No decks padded to justify hours. Just the information that is useful to act on.
Measured, Honest Reflection
Feedback that names what is not working alongside what is. Observations are delivered without urgency and without an agenda to expand the scope.
Fixed Scope, Fixed Fee
Each engagement is scoped before it begins. You know the output, the duration and the price before any work starts — no billable hours, no extensions.
Outputs Your Team Can Use
Documents written for the people who will use them — writers, marketers, founders — not for a boardroom presentation that will not be reopened.
Adaptable Arrangements
The retainer can be paused, resumed or adjusted between seasons. Work does not always proceed at the same pace, and this arrangement accommodates that.
Discreet by Default
Materials you share during any engagement are reviewed in confidence. We do not reference client work in external communications without permission.

Is your brand doing the work you need it to do?
If you are not certain, a brand audit is a reasonable first step. Send us a brief note describing your situation, and we will respond within two business days.
— Common questions
Things people ask before getting started.
Who is Sablebrook's work suited for?
We work primarily with B2B companies in Singapore — typically founders, managing directors and marketing leads who are responsible for how the company presents itself externally. The work is appropriate at any stage, from early positioning through to reviewing an established brand that has drifted.
How does the Brand Audit process work in practice?
After an initial call to understand your business context, you share the materials you want reviewed — website, decks, proposals, or other documents. Over three weeks, we work through them and produce a written findings document. There is a follow-up call to walk through it together. The one-page leadership note is delivered at the same time.
Can the Tone of Voice Guide work for a small writing team?
Yes — it is designed to be used by the people who write for your company, whether that is one person or a small team. The document covers posture, vocabulary preferences and worked examples, so it is practical rather than theoretical. It can also be useful when briefing agencies or freelancers.
What does the retainer arrangement look like month to month?
Two calls per month, scheduled to suit your calendar. After each call, you receive written notes summarising what was discussed and any recommendations. Between calls, you may share materials for review — a draft website page, a new pitch deck, an email sequence. The retainer can be paused during quieter periods and resumed when you need it again.
How is payment handled for each service?
Fixed-scope assignments (Brand Audit and Tone of Voice Guide) are invoiced in Singapore dollars at the start of the engagement. The retainer is billed monthly. Payment details are confirmed at the time of agreement. We accept bank transfer in SGD.
Do you share or reference client materials externally?
No. Anything you share during an engagement is treated in confidence. We do not reference client work, company names or specific findings in external communications, case studies or any other context without your explicit agreement.
